What homeowners ask first
Can you work with a home that is already built?
Yes. Retrofit installs use existing pathways, in-wall rated cable and wireless where it makes sense. New construction and renovations let us pre-wire before the walls close, which is the cleanest result.
Do I need a dedicated theater room?
No. A media room or living room with a large display, a hidden sound system and controlled lighting delivers most of the experience. A dedicated room adds projection, tiered seating and acoustical treatment.
Will everything work from one app?
That is the point of the design. Lighting, audio, video, shades, climate, locks and cameras are integrated on one control system with a phone app, wall keypads and voice control.
Can you add on later?
Yes. Systems are designed with capacity for more zones, rooms and cameras, so an outdoor audio zone or a second theater is an addition, not a rebuild.
Do you install security for homes as well as businesses?
Yes. TDS installs cameras, alarm systems, video doorbells and smart locks for homes, and integrates them with the automation system. The commercial side of that work is on the Security and Surveillance page.
How is it priced?
Every home is quoted after a design consultation. The number depends on the rooms, the equipment grade and whether the house is pre-wired, so no package prices are published.
